Oh how I miss AZ...
Brian and I took a trip back to Phoenix for our one year anniversary. We had such a great time with all of my friends. It was such a treat seeing the sun and being able to wear shorts for the first time this year!
We started off our festivities meeting my first--yes--first friend ever, Alecia and her husband Phil at an Irish Pub for lunch. I've know Alecia for 26 years! We lived across the street together when we were little. She's a great person who can always make me laugh.

Love the Mimosas!!
Next on the trip agenda was hitting up a spring training game with my best friend Ondrea. But not before hitting up Salty Seniorita for some good margaritas and Mexican food! Gosh I love Scottsdale and all it has to offer.
We're watching the A's vs. the Ondrea's fav, the Giants.
After the game, we hit up downtown Scottsdale for some yummy Sushi at Pure. Now for most of you who don't know, Brian is a plain eater. He doesn't do anything trendy with his food. The more traditional, the better so seeing him eating Chicken Teriyaki is a HUGE milestone for him. :-)
Ondrea and her guy Dustin...
Ondrea and I posing for one last photo before it's back to the Midwest.
With or without hoodie...I can't decide.
Well I know it's been forever since I've posted but I just thought I'd share some photos of my recent trip. I've been completely swamped at work. I've got a lot to do. I'll post up some pics soon!

looked like soo much fun!!! Love your dress? was it a dress? or top in the last few ones? Loved it anyway:)
What a darling couple you and your hubby are. I know how much you miss your hometown. I haven't been to Arizona for a long time, but I loved it, when I went.
Glad you got to get together with your friends for a great time.

Looks like you had a great time soaking up the sun and it has been sunny and warm here.
Great pictures! Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
great pics you look so pretty!! glad you had a good time.
Did Alecia go to westwind too? I only went there the one year but Joran had a friend Alecia who had a little sister, I think her name was Ashley, in kindergarten with me and we would walk home together. I know really exciting story and information you just couldn't live without.
SUPER jealous! I miss az so much and during the winter I think it's the worst. I'm going back this summer for about a month or so. Then with the extreame heat I can remember why we moved.
Looks like you had fun. maybe sometime we can we'll be in az together and meet up.
Risa, I loved the AZ photos. You look like you were having a blast. I am ready to go back anytime now. This midwest weather is too much!!
We happened to go by that restaurant you had the mimosas, I'd like to go there sometime. Miss seeing you in the AZ sun.
