Merry Christmas!!

I had a wonderful Christmas with my in-laws at their home. Everyone was so overly giving this year and has taught me not to be so strict with presents...I am thankful for everyone even thinking of me, although I'm a grown up and don't really need anything, I appreciate everyone being so sweet and thoughtful. My husband got me a gorgeous diamond necklace but the chain came apart (I don't know how), so I'll have to send that back to the jeweler and I'll post soon. We usually agree not to exchange gifts (I may be a 'Diva of the Midwest', but I'm not a frivolous spender) and DH got around that by saying Duke, our dog, got the present.

Since this was our year to be with DH's side of the family, I did miss my mom and dad...but I did get to church today and was able to thank God for everything I do have even if they're not with me today, I'm glad they are my parents.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day, I'll be posting soon :-)

P.S. This isn't my puppy (mine is a bigger version) but I thought this pic was too cute not to share.

Risa, I am so glad you had a wonderful Christmas. And that you are back home safe and sound. I did not get to share Christmas with my family. I miss them, a lot. We did share a beautiful Christmas with my hubby's family. The picture of the dog is adorable. How sweet of your hubby to buy you a necklace.
Hugs, Terrie

My DH completely surprised me with a Keurig coffee maker. It is so cool. I may post it soon as well.

Hi Risa, Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! I bet the diamond necklace is just beautiful. I got a digital camera so I can take better pictures. I hope you have a happy New Year! Kristen

Hi Risa, my camera is a Canon Power Shot SD1100 IS digital Elph8.0 Mega Pixels. In short it's called a Digital Elph. It's pretty small and fits in my purse. It takes really good pictures. I think the last 4 pictures on the "Wonderful Christmas Post" were taken with it. I haven't messed with the settings or flash yet. A friend of my husband did alot of research on small digital cameras and for the price, he thought this one was the best. It was $189 but on sale at Best Buy for $149. Hope this helps! Kristen
